Koala Creek Wines

The Heathcote family has been growing grapes and making wine in the King Valley in North East Victoria, for almost twenty years. With Koala Creek based in the picturesque foothills of Victoria’s Alpine region at Moyhu in the King Valley, it has the perfect blend of viticultural and wine making expertise, a strong tradition of family business and a deep-seated commitment to treading lightly on the earth.

This is the essence of Koala Creek.

Koala Creek has had a strong family tradition since its inception and first exports in 2002. The company now exports to Canada, The Netherlands and the U.S.

The brand is designed and priced for large volume orders, offering Shiraz, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon, and wearing the South Eastern Australian Geographic Indicator (G.I.). Wines come from both family owned vineyards and from other producers, and outsourcing of high speed bottling facilities ensures that large orders can be satisfied quickly and efficiently, whilst keeping pricing very competitive.

The families involved in growing and making the wines for Koala Creek have a long history in viticulture, so they understand the importance of commitment to quality. This shows in the outstanding wines made from each vintage, regardless of the challenges that nature puts in front of them. The same commitment is given to the land, with a dedication to respecting the environment.
